Homologation Licensing
General Understanding
Homologation/Vehicle type Approval (VTA) is a test carried out on the physical motor vehicles, trailers or trains patches before made and/or mass-assembled and/or modified imported motor vehicles.
Type : Types of Motor Vehicles, which have the Same Main Specifications
Variant : Motor Vehicles with different technical specifications, but not include the main specifications
CBU : Motor Vehicle which imported in complete condition
CKD : Motor Vehicle which imported in a complete condition but have not been assembled
Components still in a disassembled condition
NIK : Vehicle identity with combination of 17 character of letters and/or numbers posted/ printed in vehicles or also called the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)
